Any fans of Nikki Yanofsky here?

This is her version of 'Lullaby of Birdland' when she was just 14 years old. Still had her braces on.

Incredible how she holds the notes.

Her version of 'A Tisket, a Tasket' :  https://youtu.be/XfLkmQN7qx0

A bit of Ella got reincarnated with her is what I am thinking.

Thanks Paul.
Nice recording.
Even if I am not a big fan of female voices,
I can still enjoy a good recording of a female voice.
By the way, I am a Canadian,
but I don't really like the voice of Celine Dion.

Lots, lots of good music (Some high quality) on You Tube.
Every day I discover some new interesting songs and singers.

Hi Guy,

Celine Dion's voice? Too nasal? She is from French Quebec, so she sings like the French speak. Maybe.

I do admire the fact that she hasn't destroyed her voice. All the 'belters' and women with similar techniques have already lost their voices.

Maybe I should start a thread for music that people don't like.  :)

Hi Paul.
A very good idea :   '' Start a thread for music that people don't like ''
Let me start with with :
Country - western music
(Maybe Dolly Parton is an exception
and it has nothing to do with her... Well you know.,
heavy metal rock (For me it's more noise than music)
O.K. now your turn...

I hope I haven't offended AN members.

Hi all.
I don't really like vocal singer (Male or female),
I am more of an acoustic guy.
I love the sound of instruments like :
Tubular bells, big Japanese drums, small bells
and electronic music like : Vangelis, Kitaro, JM Jarre.
