Perfume Future Pop Tour in San Jose

Had the pleasure to catch my favorite j-pop/electronic group in San Jose last week. 
To pigeon hole the trio into just a 'girl group' is a disservice. Highly precise choreography coupled with state-of-the-art augmented reality, projection mapping, lasers, and the best lighting effects I've ever seen live.  They collaborate with a company called rhizomatics that will do the special effects for Tokyo 2020.

I only saw a scaled down 'overseas tour' version of their usual show, but it is safe to say I have never seen anything like this. Hard to describe what I saw and there are only a few images online due to copyright protection, but take a look at these screen caps from a past concert and the video below.

This is an interesting video where they dance in sync while in three different cities: New York, Tokyo, and London, using 5G technology from Docomo ( a Japanese telecom).
