Between you, Scott and I, we could form a photography Circle area.

That sounds like a challenge. OK, I'll start first

Here are some cool shots from RMAF. these will be in the Day 1 show coverage at ETM when it gets posted. These are a bit higher resolution and larger (I've been hounding Steve to increase the size of the pics...without much success  )

A closeup of the Galibier Gavia turntable with the Stelvio platter outfitted with brand new Durand Talea tonearm and the Dynavector XV-1s cartridge.

A cool pic of the Classic Audio Reproduction R1.3 field coil horns shot across the bow of the Atma-Sphere OTLmono-blocks

Chris Hof (BPT) doing the Wolfy lean

Cool shot of the Empirical Audio/BPT gear

The STUPID expensive YG speakers...they are cool to look at though

Jeffrey Jackson (Experience Music) mercury vapor power supply

...ok, lets see if that works.

....nope.....

AHA! GOT IT! You can't just right click, copy image location then nest in the image command. You have to use the DIRECT LINK between the image commands  ;)

They look great to me, thanks for sharing.
That mercury vapor stuff scares me and intrigues me at the same time.. Seems like a lot of potential to go wrong.. which I love. ;)
I really enjoy listening to music.

Scott.. how did you like the Summas?

I liked them a lot. I was expecting a similar sound as the SP Tech speakers which I've never really cozied up to. the Summas were really impressive. Clean, clear, articulate. they roll of at..give or take 50Hz but that is just fine. Roll a sub (or three like Mike has) up under them and you've got one heck of a good sounding system. Oh, and they are obviously tube friendly  :D/

Hey Chris, thanks for the kind words. Oh, and also thanks for the new NYAR Demo Disc. There are some great tracks on there  :D

I enjoyed the sound from the Empirical and YG Acoustics rooms.  Scott - the smaller YGs are only $38k a pair.  :)

Hey what are those cables on the floor in your system Mike?
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have  to blow your nose.

bpape

I think those are Paul Kaplan's prototypes that Mike is playing with.

The power and speaker cables are indeed Kaplan cable prototypes. The interconnects are some mil spec stuff from flea bay.

BobM

How do you like them over Paul's original cords?

I don't know about Mike, but in MY systems, Paul's new power cables are a very nice step up.  Not even close on my Acoustats.  The new Rhodiums are something very special.
