The new website is up, so I guess we're official.

Does the Triangle Audio Society still meet from time-to-time?  Tried looking up the website but the link isn't working for me.  While I don't live in the Triangle, I am close enough to drive to any GTGs.

Thanks.

PM Richidoo. I think he's having a gathering tonight. Bring plenty of gifts. Only kidding. I'm sure Rich will respond.

No joke, anyone bringing gifts is welcome!  ;)

The Triangle Audio Society was the vision of AN member steveb. We worked together on the concept a few years ago and it did come to life for a brief moment. I made a website but there was nothing to say there that wasn't already being said here on AN, since AN owner Carlman is a member of TAS and lots of ANers live in NC. So I let the domain name expire.

We do meet pretty often. Sometimes once a month, lately once a quarter. It's just up to when someone wants to host. That is usually when someone has something they want to show off. Look in the NC Triangulation section for announcements about G2Gs.  Maybe we should have a schedule like Rave and Syndrome, to encourage all the participants to host.

There is also a Carolina audiophiles mailing list.

There was a formally organized Carolina Audio Society based in Charlotte, but it disbanded last year. Some of the central characters still meet privately, but the club was very big and only a few were hosting. With 4 million people in Charlotte there are a lot of audiophiles down there - you could start a new one!

There is a Carolina Audiophiles Circle on AC, which you probably already know about.

Thanks for the info.  I'll join the Google group.

Merry Christmas, everyone.
