There is nothing in the photo to give us a size reference, but it looks to me likeis is a smallish module.

Could it be a module to be built into another component to give the power supply a built in Digibuss functionality?

Don't get too excited yet, it was only a guess on my part. Let's see what Dave has to say.

Looks like Dave might be making a DigiBUSS Signature edition from the picture label.

Will be watching to see what he has come up with.

I thought I posted the description earlier.  My bad.

It was a tad obvious with the jpeg label.

I am constantly doing my best to improve the breed. The UberBUSS of today is VERY different from gen1 and markedly different from the last generation of 2-3 years ago.

The size is 3" x 2" x 1.5"

The wire is 14ga THHN.

It has a major revision of the original line to neutral module.  In addition, there is a ground filter/trap that is very effective.  Ground planes in digital gear are repositories of noise that runs amok in systems.  This is especially true with the big move to streamers as the main source unit.

The final (for now) change is the inclusion of IGFD in the module.

Price is TBD, but is hovering around $469.00 - $479.00.  We'll see.

Dave,
If you need a guinea pig for the new version, I have lots of digital gear to test it against.

The dspNexus has a SMPS as does the RPi4 I am using.  Also have a Maverick Audio Tube Magic D1 about ready for upgrade.

Looks interesting to me!

Dave,  a couple posts back you mentioned how much your UberBUSS has changed and improved over the years.  I can certainly attest to that, but... did you mean DigiBUSS?   And if not, how much will this new DigiBUSS improve on earlier versions?  I currently have an early stand-alone digiBUSS plus a relatively recent (bought in 2017 I think) UberBUSS with integrated DigiBUSS.   Wondering just how much I will need/want the Digi Signature... (but pretty sure I will ;-)

Reporting from beautiful downtown Iowa Park, Texas...

Hi, Mike.  Nope, I didn't mean the DigiBUSS.  Your Uber was the very first of the latest generation of Ubers.  I have made a couple of changes since I built your Uber, but those were made necessary due to parts unavailability and I had to find substitutes.

What this thread is about is a completely new DigiBUSS version.  It does not replace the existing Digi.  It takes that idea and expands upon it for even better performance.

I'm sure that Charles and Pete will report back...

Email me if you want more info.

Mike,

We had a great time.  Danny and Christy are wonderful friends and hosts.  I'll be adding a thread about the visit probably tonight... I'm slammed goiing through 80+ emails and making some phone calls to catchup with what 3 days out of the geezer's life brought.

Talk to you soon...
