Hi Leo
Just what makes one streamer better than another?
Just streaming....no DAC or hard drive required
How does yours compare to the Bluesound at $500

Anyone have any experience with Volumio?

Hi,

Both Streamer and Streamer Ultra will have the same exact sound quality but Ultra has a 5-inch touchscreen you can interface with.

The DAC inside my streamers is way better than the DAC inside the Bluesound Node products. So if you are using the Bluesound as a DAC my products will outperform it, no question.

The DAC inside the node2 products is notoriously bad:

All PecanPi products are now at rev 3.0. All connections are on the back of the device and with Rev 3.0 there is also an SPDIF input allowing for standalone DAC operation without streaming.
