I almost hope nobody wants the Monads so you *have to* keep them. :)

I seriously can't win this year. First the house flooding, then a bunch of other stuff, now this.... got a letter in the mail on Friday saying I'm being audited as well... was a nice finish to the week...
a certain someone doesn't know it yet because I haven't given it to her yet... but an insanely expensive little shiny thing is likely going back and a much cheaper alternative is being purchased. I'm hoping in light of everything she'll be somewhat understanding if, when I finally get around to asking her to accept it, it isn't the wow factor she was hoping for... but if I have to give up some of my most beloved toys, sacrifices have to be made everywhere.... the new house is going to have to wait as well.... we'd just found the one she really wanted...
