XBox Question

Will standard XBox stream video from a NAS? Stream music from nas? I never even connected it to the network, wondering if it's worth the bother. We don't play XBox Live.

Thanks John. I found out there is some kind of software server that MS makes that you can run on the PC to enable this, but not with features I was looking for. The software has a rep of being resource hog and buggy - big suprise from MS.
