Title: Super star in the Future?
Post by: steve on January 14, 2019, 06:38:17 PM
I didn't know where to post this, so here. Recording quality is not for reference. Talent galore though.
First saw her on AGT, but this one is from Spain.

She just made the finals.

Steve, it’s fine here. Tried to move it to Music Discussion, but that didn’t work for some reason. For those who’ll watch the video, please watch beyond the opera singer part!

Haha! Now I've seen it all. A coloratura singing rock! These opera singers always certainly have perfect breath control.  Reminds me of Manowar (a power metal band) covering Puccini's Nessum Dorma.

Oh my. The judge on the right went bonkers. She wasn't even going to try out, got tricked into it.
But maybe it is good she waited till 37, more settled and handling herself. She won Spains Got Talent.
To clarify, Christina got golden buzzer on AGT.

Sarah Brightman has some of the same qualities as Christina, but I don't think Sarah's rock is as
good as Christina's rock.

On AGT, a link.

Paul, this song wasn’t on Tidal, but I did find it on YouTube. I kept thinking this song was going to morph, but they played it straight all the way through. Great job! Was the rest of the album metal music or was this released as a single?

Well, I attempted to find the name of the first song Christina sang, and wound up with this.

Hi Steve and all.
That's the kind of singing I don't like,
to me, it sounds more like screeming...
I'm sure you and others don't agree and think I know nothing about music,
but that's o.k. with me.

Hi Guy,

I agree, the last part sounded like screeming, I don't care for it either, but the first part was pure soprano. I am not an opera guy, and this song wasn't the best. On AGT the champions, she sings some really nice stuff.

I think she will be a super star, just like Sarah. She just has to choose the right selections.

Yes, I agree, the first part (The opera part) was very good,
even if I am not a big fan of opera,
however, there are a few opera singer that sing a very narrow selection of song, that I ike.

Guy, I think you might like this one, "Everything I do, I do for you"; original in 1992 was number 1 for a record
16 weeks on the English single charts. Slightly different, hope you like. (I would change one word from "lie" for you to "die" for you.)

This one shows more range of voice.

Thanks for the treat, Steve! I hadn’t heard of Emanne Beasha before and her voice is beautiful. I saw a few more YouTube clips from her including Nessun Dorma
