vanillag NOTES (1/25/2023):
--BIG UP, much thanks & Jah Love to whomever originally recorded this 1988 Jimmy Cliff show.  Also much Jah Love to Jeremiah's friend for rescuing these tapes from the thrift store, Jeremiah for sending them to dubwise &, of course, dubwise for transferring & sharing them with us all.  Absolutely Appreciated & sounds very, very tasty!!
--"Wild World" (t06) actually begins in the last 9 seconds of t05 (previous track)
--I corrected some song titles toward how they appear on the original albums
--I added the band members info...this was not easy to research & discover, mind you...Jimmy does indeed announce them during the last 47 seconds of "Treat the Youths Right" (t14), but his patois & rhythm of speech still made this not so easy...but through determination, patience, multiple listens & cross-referencing research online, I am confident that I got them all correct.  If anyone knowns otherwise on these cats, please chime in.
--I combed thru, researched & added the setlist info (thanks to dime user blackpage for the initial offering toward that info)
--added more detail to the venue info
--created an ffp checksum file
--added the ffp fingerprints to the text file

Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young
1987-02-06 2nd show
Arlington Theatre, Santa Barbara, CA, USA
Greenpeace Benefit

This show was the forerunner to the recording of the American Dream album.
Neil promised David to work with him again if he left the drugs alone, he kept his word.
There were two shows that evening, the first one being a little shorter,
and my copy of the second show sounded better.

This one comes from a 4th generation analoge cassette.
The tape 45'\90'ends were glued together to get a flowing set. Here and there some gaps and holes were fixed.
There is one gap in Changing Partners which I couldn't fix properly, so I left it in. The first few seconds of Southern Man are missing
Beside some hiss reduction no adjustments were made to my original tape.

lineage: 4th generation analoge tape played through a Pioneer S430S >> EDirol SD card >> PC
Editing with Adobe Audition

An all acoustic performance by the great foursome with some nice surprises in the setlist.
First of all an unreleased Crosby tune called 'He's An American', Nash his great song 'Try To find Me'
and a seldom heard acoustic performance of 'Mideast vacation' by Young.
But what really stands out is the great singing and performing, they're in fine form here[check out This Old Huose]
A joy to listen to.
Check it out.

In the files you can find a few pictures, found on the net.
Also included a scan of the review of the show from the Rolling Stone march 26 1987.

01. Wasted On The Way
02. Change Partners

Hey!  Better late than never...I'm surprized by the lack of JB shows from his U.S. tour showing up anywhere out there. I guess folks are a busy as I am?
Well here's my recording from the Philly stop. One of the versions of Stratus of heard! (with all due respect to Billy Cobham and Tommy Bolin).  I saw the setlist and Scatterbrain was listed...did I miss something???
