Roll With It
Steve Winwood - lp

Nice sound quality as Steve worked further on his solo sound.

They have a new album out released this year. Haven't heard it yet so I can;t really comment on it.

There are so many bands from the 70's that are now reforming and putting out new albums, like Alice Cooper, et al.

Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have to blow your nose.

Tanita Tikaram- Eleven kinds of Loneliness

Eclectic folk/jazz/worldmusic based record recorded in 1992.  Spare, stark, longing, sexy.  Brilliant musicianship from sidemen I've never heard of.  Tikaram has a very low voice, and sounds like a mix between Tracy Chapman and Fiona Apple; at once sad and vulnerable, yet forceful and strong.

A really nice surprise from the stack of records I got from my Southern version of the Crack House.

Jazz Ultimate
Bobby Hackett & Jack Teagarden | Format: Vinyl

Chicago-style jazz from '57, very smooth, sounds like Dixieland jazz somewhat.

This is kind of a bizarre list. The Beatles "Revolver as number one in The 200 Greatest Psychedelic Albums????? I mean don't get me wring, revolver is a great album, but O never really thought of it as Psychedelic. And looking firther down the ist I find The Beach Boys, The Byrds, Donovan and the Bee Gees all of which are pretty far from the Psychedelic realm in my book, but there is no listing for Dark Side of the Moon.

Go figure.

But Bill look on the bright side, if you already had them all there would be nothing left to shop for.

My thoughts were going a little diff. It was the albums I wasn't seeing that I felt should be on there
