Guys, guys, guys!!!!

Do you know how much time it takes to spend $320 on $1 per........

I was at the crackhouse over 6 hours, come hour 6 I had know idea what I had taken hour 1!

I'd like to say this is the 1st time I bought the same album during the same trip, but then I'd be a liar along with all my other faults.  8)

Bill - this album looks pristine, but an inch in from the lead-in groove there's something that keeps throwing the stylus back, you'll have to bring your diy steam system down next trip, cuz this sounds really nice otherwise.

I just heard a track from this on the radio, I think it's the most beautiful music I've heard in a long time. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.

OK, now you have my interest. Are you taking about the piece itself or this particular performance of it?

Hi Tom, I've never heard the piece before (the Adagio movement from the 2nd piano concerto) so it could be the worst performance ever... But it sure worked for me. I'll let you know, I just ordered it, supposedly "new" for $6 delivered.

OK Rich, we can compare notes. I just got on the Nassau Library Sysem web site and ordered a CDs of his piece by the BBC Scottish Symphony, The LA Philharmonic and the NY Philharmonic (with Leonard Bernstein himself on the piano.)

Like I was saying earlier today, I love the oprotunities this thread gives me to explore new musical frontiers.
