I remember reading somewhere that one of the reviewers thought these were the best in show I think at RMAF, not sure.

If you really want the truth about the "Best Sound in Show at RMAF", look no further than here...

Just googled Linkwitz lx521 and looked at some photos.

They are definitiely the antithesis of wife friendly.

My wife is from Taiwan where most people believe in all sorts of ghosts. These speakers would scare the hell out of her on a regular basis. Low light situations especially would elicit wild screams of terror....it still amazes me how often I scare her coming up the stairs.

Here's a quick update.

My Adelphos speakers have about 50 hours on them now. At lower listening levels or with female vocals and/or piano they sound wonderful. The midrange and high range sounds are crystal clear and a joy to listen to. At louder volumes, unfortunately, there is very noticeable resonance. I cheated on the cabinet and this is the result. It is an excellent and inexpensive lesson that physics can not be defeated. I will either buy a ready made cabinet from P/E or I will build a new one.

In the meantime, i will not turn up the volume too much and enjoy sweet music.
