I ordered this on LP back on Jan 4th based on a listing from Elusive Disc that said it would be shipping on Jan 8th. It was offered as a 4 LP/2 CD/ 1 DVD set. Well, after having the ship date pushed out 4 times I finally get an email this weekend saying that the manufacturer had discontinued this title.
(I can't blame the dealer as they were strung along by the importer, who kept promising deliveries that never happened, but it still pisses me off.)
But low and behold, they are now offering the LPs without the CDs nor the DVD... for the same price as the original set. I will probably order it since what I really wanted in the first place was the LPs, but it is showing a 4-6 week delivery time, so I am afraid I will be playing the same game all over again.
I found a guy on Amazon that is selling a 4 LP set out of Germany, but the listing does not state that it is 180g vinyl like the others I have seen, so I am not sure if it is the same release or some kind of bootleg copy. But he claims to have it in stock and will ship it in 2 days. :scratch
Decisions, decisions.
So for now I will just enjoy the music via Tidal.
Update:
On a hunch to did a google search and found the original LP/CD/DVD set for sale directly from Amazon UK. Searching the US amazon site came up with nothing, but the UK warehouse has it in stock and I am getting it, including shipping for less that I was originally pay for it form the US sites. Should be in my hands on or about April 15th.
Not sure why I didn't think of this sooner.
