Title: DIY Stands For My A-400's
Post by: pumpkinman on July 17, 2015, 06:14:48 PM
Kind of a joke but with out the stands they could easily topple.

Here's a couple of shots with the original bases/stands

The black base was in rough shape and was 1 1/2" deep.

Pic with everything removed

4 pieces of red oak 1 1/2" x 14 1/2"

To add a little to the look I mitered it.

A quick install to see what they look like.
Tomorrow I'll paint them a nice gloss black.

I ordered 8 feet from Seismic Audio  1.5" wide .6" tall

So the original bases/stands was 2" total in depth and the new stands will be too.
