Any word about Phil's Christmas Holiday or another December rave?  Bostonian would still like to visit if the invitation still stands, weather permitting.

I will be hosting the rave in Maplewood, Northern NJ. You are welcome to come. I lived more than 8 years in Cambridge, MA.

It will be from 12:30-1:00pm to whenever.

It looks like we will be comparing between CD playback and computer audio. I have cPlay and Foobar. Nick will bring his Linux daemon and Wavelength brick. Levi his Apple/Almarra. I have some high res files 24/88.2, 24/96 and 24/176.2 Hrx

We will be able to listen to the Brick and my Benchmark and an old Philips cd-880 which I put in the TDA1541A S2 double crown (to compare with the Brick's TDA1543N2).

I will run digital sources thru a 76 tube pre from a friend. My system is bi-amped with SS (<100Hz), 6A5 PP or 6B4G PP (>100hz). I also have a 300B but that requires using the Benchmark as a low output impedance preamp (the amp uses input transformer), we will hook it up too if we have time.
