Title: Pavane 211
Post by: rollo on March 26, 2018, 12:33:27 PM
Bought a pair on a lark. to my surprise one heck of a tube. A mix of Western Electric 242D and VT4C. A wonder in tone right out of box. After 100 hours I should be in for something special. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Ask for Rachel.
BTW using in my custom rebuilt Consonance Cyber 211 mono blocks. Duelunds next up. CAST PIO baby.

OK now have 150 hours on them. Not going back. These replicas are really really good. At $675/pr vs over $1500 for NOS, Elrod, Emission Labs buy these if you use 211 tube. My highest recommendation.

The Coulping Caps used are V-Caps. A tad dry but very accurate. Ordering some Audio Note to check out. They are supposed  to have a special synergy with Pavane.

If someone wants them they are gone however in the mean time having some fun. Bought tubes long before considering selling, just have too many amps on hand.
