Hi all.
About 5 years ago I bought from a Rega authorized dealer here in Vietnam
a Rega P3 and paid 11,385,000...
Of course, that's Vietnamese dollars, here they call it : Dong
which comes out to about 490.00 USD without the Exact mm cartridge.
I think the price is too high for what Rega gives you.
If I like carefully at the table without being cheap I say it a little cheaply built.
Especially the tone arm.
I feel that I didn't got what I paid for.
Lots of plastic, cheap interconnects.
The spindle pivot is too short to use a clamping device.
I could not install a Benz Micro MC Gold cartridge because
no tonearm hight adjustment, tracking adjustment can easily fall off
if adjusted near it end.
Sound quality performances might be there,
but I wonder if a Project or Music Hall are better built ?
Any of you have a Regar P3 and what do you think of my comments ?
Justified or not ?

By the way :
I will keep the turntable until I have transfert all my vinyl to usb key.
After that I will sell it,
unfortunately it's 220V. and to convert it, I need to purchase a new motor with a PC board
the cost about 300 $
