Went with my wife to see Pentatonix at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte.  It was a sold out show, with 1200 or so bodies packing the place.  The crowd was an interesting mix of folks: college kids, parents with children, middle aged grownups....

Pentatonix is a 5 person vocal group who perform pop songs a capella.  The oldest in the group is 23 and these kids are remarkable; pitch-perfect with wonderful arrangements, fabulous energy, wonderful stage presence and  unique sound.  

They sound as good live as they do canned.  

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but you have to at least acknowledge how talented these kids are.  Here are some samples:
