Clearwave Loudspeaker Design at RMAF.
« on: September 24, 2011, 06:55:29 PM »
I literally only had a few minutes to snap a picture after finishing this pair of curly cherry Symphonia 72Rs, before sending them out to get packed and shipped to Wyred 4 Sound for use in their room at RMAF.  Please excuse the snapshot photography.  Here's a quick picture without the black bases attached to the bottom.  The design is sloped 5 degrees, 2" thick baffle with multiple densities of solid hardwood and MDF, multiple latter bracing, rear flared ports, and top quality point to point wired parts throughout.   This is one of my personal all time favorite speakers that I've designed.  Selling price is normally $6995 through dealers.  Show special pricing will come soon.  The speakers below will be in room 1021.

Hopefully I'll have some time during the show to sneak away and do a little listening this year.   Will stop by if I can get away.

Hope to cross paths with you, Bryan.

Here's a pair of 7R's we did in walnut that are shipping to Singapore this next week, so they unfortunately won't be at the show:

Solid hardwood fronts are now standard in the Symphonia line.

High Gloss will be an option too, as seen here:

Here's the Cardas gold plated copper binding posts with engraved aluminum plate, which has my company name, model name, and serial numbers.

Symphonia 7R's start at $4395 through dealers.  This pair had outboard crossovers, dual binding posts, and high gloss option upgrades.

Bears a striking resemblance to Marten's Miles, sans the ribbon tweeter.  :thumb:

Neil from Clearsound Audio in Patchogue is carrying them. Maybe I can get him to bring a pair over at my next Rave

Neil helped me get things set up at RMAF with Wyred4Sound, so the 72Rs will be singing along in RM1021 in Denver.  Hope you guys make it there to hear them.
