I have a nearly identical DAC and have had no real inclination to change it in well over a year, which is amazing for me. (Thanks again, Rich!)
My preamp rounds it out a little (a Belles 21a tubed pre with mods). So, my system sounds overall quite balanced to me... with resolution and detail in abundance but not overdone in any 1 way.
SC's and IC's can make huge differences in the overall presentation. So, glad you're dialing in the sound you like.
