The Beach Boys: Live-The 50th Anniversary Tour

Qobuz 44-16

Temps on Long Island hit the 80s & 90s this weekend, so I figured it was time to break out a little beach music.

This was recorded in 2012 and sounds surprisingly good considering their ages.

But it is kind of scary to think that the Beach Boys 50th Anniversary was 10 years ago..........

Gene Ammons: Boss Tenor

Qobuz 44/24

I really enjoyed this album when I listened to it on Qobuz so when  I got the opportunity to get my hands on an Analogue Productions SACD copy I jumped on it. And it did not disappoint. The SQ of the SACD layer is absolutely top shelf. This one will definitely be in the regular rotation.  :thumb:

Dave you are right. Things like this just need to be said.

In the tradition of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Tom Paxton and Pert Paul and Mary, music can not only touch our hearts and souls, but it can also be a gateway to our minds, opening them to the good,,, and the not so good aspects of our society.

No need to apologize. It is a good post.
