I think I'll just keep what I have. I wish I had taken the time to understand what aps-c, full frame, and 1/1.7 actually meant.
I thought the 5100 was full-frame and that my P7700 was a cropped sensor.. I was very wrong. I also thought the market was great value.. I was getting pro-level quality for cheap... No, that's not the case either.
I have some old, cheap Pentax K-1000 film cameras/lenses.. and cheap Canon's and I was thinking of getting back into film.. until I came across my medium and large format negatives.. and I remembered the tonal range of those. If I go film, I think I need to go big to get the IQ (image quality) I'm looking for (fine art storytelling types of scenes).
Now I'm not sure if I'm going to go back into film, dig deeper into digital, or what.. sigh. I have a lot of cameras, all amateur level.
I think if I sold everything I have in gear, I'd get a grand... maybe.
