After years of being a Vinyl Junkie and Fan the day has come where my Digital gear out performs my Analog Rig. Hi -Rez playback with zero noise and FINALLY a 3D sound stage like vinyl. Over the years vinyl always had an edge in tonality, harmonics, meat on the bone and sound staging.
Well my Little Chickadees not any more. I can listen to a complete Classical piece or Opera without flipping LPs. The DAC and dedicated transport I use is very close to the LP, very close. The addition of the music server [ INNUOS] changed that.
As of today the server edges out any transport I have tried except the Aqua [ At 9K it should]. Ive also used a CEC TL01 and Ayon. The server is used mostly now. There are still some CDs that I prefer on Transport than server but narrowing.

Maybe 0.0001%, if I'm being generous and assuming I haven't heard a lot of the digitized stuff I like.

My digital rig beat my TT rig 10 years ago.
Once you have no linear phase digital, you can really makes strides past the analog sound.

Linear phase????

Most digital reconstruction filters in DAC's use linear phase filtering. Some have multiple types of digital filters that can be selected. I go for minimum phase or at least something that is not linear phase.
