Well this thread is starting to pick up traction again, not only in the number of posts, but in the fact that folks are actually reading and responding to posts, so I think it is time for me to jump in again, starting with one of my best recent finds.....

Classic Records 180g Test Pressing LP
This RTI test pressing came from the estate of Harry Pearson. So this is a genuine piece of audiophile history.
But besides being historical this pressing in and of itself is a hands down a top of the pile LP. As a test pressing it is one of the first 20 copies off the production line . I don't know how much of an effect that actually has on the sound, but regardless this is a dead quiet pressing with just superb sonics.
And it is Ben Webster, so not much more needs to be said about the music.
