Packing bags before I head into site for last day of 1st week as a consultant, listening to this after hearing some of it last night at dinner at a hole in the wall on the water. The special was a combo plate of 'gator and frogs legs, I passed on that.

They had Zappa on, it was all somewhat surreal.

Eric Bibb: Friends

Telarc CD

One of my favorite Eric Bibb albums. Not so much hard core blues as it is just soulful reflective acoustic folk music

A bit overproduced IMO when compared to "Friends". Not that it is bad, I just like the musical simplicity of "Friends" better.

Jimmy Buffett: Feeding Frenzy

MCA CD

Not one of Jimmy's best efforts. An overly large amount of reverb make it sound like he is playing in am echoy bathroom and the performance is kind of reserved and lacks the reckless abandon that characterizes other live Buffett albums released both before and after this one. If you are looking for a live Buffett album there are much better ones to chose from.
