Nice laid back side with Bud and Klook. The nice thing besides the groove is the sound quality which is excellent.

Howard McGhee is largely remembered as a great bop trumpeter.  But he could swing too and was in bands led by Lionel Hampton, Andy Kirk, and Count Basie.  He recorded a number of sessions with Charlie Parker.  This Chronological Classics title collects sessions he recorded with Milt Jackson, James Moody, Jimmy Heath, Hank Jones, and Ray Brown.
