Nine Inch Nails
2000-04-27
Chicago Recording Company
Chicago, IL

I do not have lineage information, but I personally confirmed that this is lossless
(both with audCDtect/Trader's Little Helper and visually compared the spectrographs with known lossy recordings with audacity)

01 Something I Can Never Have
02 The Day the World Went Away
03 Hurt
04 Even Deeper
05 The Big Comedown
06 The Fragile
07 Hurt

Note from nympholept:
This recording has been widely available as mp3 for some time, but is rarely seen in lossless.

I wonder how many of these live recordings are licensed by the owner of the music?  I'm guessing most of these are bootleg?
I can't believe that Rush gave their blessings to a performance recorded on a cassette deck.

I don't know. I can tell you 12 January 1978 of Rush is a very fine recording indeed!

@S Clark

Scott -

In the case of rush I included the name and email address of the person who mastered the recording.
Carl Morstadt (dantalion8@yahoo.com)

By all means send him an email and ask aLL the questions you want.

aLL of my music is sourced from the largest BitTorrent trading sites in the world. Such as but not limited to (you can Google to find the url if you're interested)

Lossless Legs
Traders Den
Dime A Dozen
BT etree

Those sites have been operational for years. I'd have to think if there was anything "illegal" going on they would have been shut down long time ago.

To my understanding the rule of thumb for bittorent trading is everything is fair game as long as it hasn't been commercially released material.

Best.
