Title: Magnification and Cartridge Alignment

Do any of you guys use magnification when using an alignment jig?  As the years pass by, I find it now almost essential to getting decent results.  The headsets are certainly cheap from China, and for occasional use, seem to work well.

  I use a hand held magnifier.

I haven't but I could probably appreciate them for other things.

When I was cloning an amp that Gary Dodd built for me, a set of headlamp magnifiers were required gear.  Caught many mistakes that would have escaped me by the naked eye.

Glad that's working for you- it was a game changer for me.  Most of you guys are light years ahead of me, so it's nice to be able to add something.
