Got it a few days ago. Beautiful construction. Sound-wise it's too soon to say much, even though he burned it in. First impressions are that it adds meat to the bones. It sounds very rich and fleshy. My first hi-end PC on my amp!

I got the Silkworm+ from KCI about a month ago, and I'm not going back... Your 'meat on the bones' analogy is what I use when describing my system now.
Oops, I see this is about a power cable, but I highly recommend his interconnects too.

I had silkworms (the older version) for a while but they just didn't work on my system. John graciously let me send them back and in exchange he made this PC cable. It's really really good. I was sceptical about hearing any significant difference but I was wrong. Meaty and delightfully tactile (and a touch warm) is how I would describe it so far. I will know the whole story when my cdp returns from it's latest adventure. I have speaker wires he made for me too and they are so classy.
