I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.

In spite of that I hope to attend. Problem is it's my Mother In Law's birthday party that day.

There's your opening guys.

Thank you Groucho!

Which reminds me of another great Graucho story (and this was a true incident, not a joke.)

One summer back in the 40s Graucho and his family were invited by a friend to visit a fancy Country Club. It was a hot day and while they were there thay decided to go for a swim. The changed into there swim suits and when they as they were just getting ready to jump in the manager approached them and said "I'm sorry Mr. Marx but we don't allow Jewish people to use the pool."  Graucho didn't skip a beat. He turned to the manager and asked "Well ,my daughter is only half Jewish. Can she go in up to her waist?"

The best way to fight stupid people is to throw there own stupidity right back in their own faces.  8)

A fun day it was. The Audiosyndrome was proud to put this muti club event together. We want to thank Harry and Matt for their hospitality and great day for all.
Live Blues, great food, and special guest Peter of Soundsmith and his wares. Soundsmith speakers, amps, pre, phono stage sounded great. Dynamics in spades. The JBL speakers had a nice synergy with the Mc Intosh amps as well.
Harry  showed a load of vintage gear as well as his new direct drive TT and super plastic arm oh my !
So next year VPI will have a new dedicated sound room for demo. A special thanks to Paul Mah and Dave Nemzer for helping out.
