We are coming up an the anniversary of the passing of our dear friend Earl Ferris. (I was out of town when it happend so I don't know the exact date, but I do remember it was right around the begoinning of April.)
Earl never had better than mediocre equipment by high end standards, but he always managed to enjoy music on more than anyone I have ever known. (Although Earls vision of heaven was a place where the record library did not have a Mahler section
)
I, for one, miss his insights and the way he always tried to refocus us on why it is we do all that we do in this hobby ("Remember guys, it's all about the music.") Our meetings are not quite the same without him.
I think all AudioSyndromers should raise a glass of Diet Pepsi in memory of our good friend Earl.
Rest in Peace good buddy.
