Clarification:  Meeting at my place is May, not March.  I believe that Dennis is scheduled for March if he's feeling up to it?  I'm not sure who's got April & June and I can't seem to find the e-mail from Paul M. that had the remaining meetings listed for the year until our summer break.  I hope this helps.

Again, if any non-Syndrome member is interested in attending one of our meetings, please PM any one of us.

Not the norm, but this last meeting was on a Saturday!   :)

Usually we meet on the third or fourth Friday of the month, September through June and then over the summer Dennis has been hosting an "unofficial" annual BBQ either July or August.  We have been discussing the possibility of one or two Saturdays spread out over the calendar year, just to give some of the guys that have a scheduling conflict for Fridays a chance to attend.

 Hey Emil,
                 We took some photos however I believe we had camera problems. Hopefully tom can upload something. Now Sat. meetings are a rare occasion for us. Especially during the day. Sundays are a no no all together. Family day and all that.
     Trad ionally as Steronut has said Fri evenings are the Men's night out. Saturdays [ daytime] are for nerds.   :-P

The April meeting is scheduled for Charlie Kuttler's home in Forest Hills.  The June meeting is scheduled for Mel Gross' home also in Forest Hills.  Charlie is thinking about having a Saturday meeting. :thumb:

Tom- great meeting.  Thanks go out to you and Betsy (and Bobby who pulled KP) for opening up the house to the "mob", or as my wife likes to say, "to all us nuts". :rofl:

The system with the addition of the CS6s sounded great.  Big sound, very wide and deep soundstage, very lifelike.  The best I ever heard the big Thiels. :thumb:

I'll comment of the Oppo later.  Don't have the time now for what will be a long discourse.

Were we listening to the Oppo BDP-83 or the 83SE? Apparently the sound of the plain 83 is mediocre and the 83SE is what an audiophile should listen to (from reports I'm reading).
