Hi Deepak,

I have A2s on my desktop and just bought a pr of A2+ (have built-in DAC) for Sharen's new office upstairs.

I like them a lot but don't have much to compare them to. They do no harm which goes a long way in a $200 speaker.

Get the little wedgie stands - they work well and can be used to point the speakers down if placed up high.

How about these speakers from Virtue Audio?

These are more expensive than the Audio A2s but they look more compact.

I had these for a bit and they sounded nice. Size wise though unless you have a big desk I can't picture them for desktop speakers.

Glow Audio Voice One.

The Audio engines are the ones to beat. The one that beats them IMO are the Maggies. Hard to believe what they do.

I have a pair of logitech x-140s and they are 29.99. Awesome for everything except sub bass. They throw a great soundstage and nice amount of detail. I was hella surprised. ;)
Its cool ndude.
