I've forgotten where I read about this album, but I'm listening to it on headphones now. It's too early in the morning for my wife to appreciate the sax.

That's a nice easy sound.  Horace Parlan is the pianist on lots of great jazz albums... Doin' Alright by Dexter Gordon, Uh Um by Charlie Mingus, That's It by Booker Irvin, and Up at Minton's by Stanley Turrentine-- and that's just albums that I've got.  I don't think he ever got his spot amongst the elite pianist that he deserved.

I am a huge fan of Sting, and have most of his work.  But I don't think I've got a single "live" performance.
I tend to think that studio work is better recorded in general, and Sting's work is very well recorded.
