I'm on my iPad right now so I can't post a picture. I'm into one of Bob Clearmountain's best efforts: Roxy Music - AVALON. Magical engineering, mixing and mastering...
Dave,
As you know, I'm an all Mac guy and I'm on my iPad 98% of the time. The easiest way to accomplish this imo is to be able to choose the quality when taking the photo or being able to choose the file size or the number of pixels. I've been looking for an app to do that, but have yet to find a satisfactory one. You can do some resizing within the iPad after taking the photo. You would look for the arrows at the top right (next to' "details") and then look for a "square" icon on the bottom. That would allow you to take your finger and push the corners to resize. It's not a very good method. If you are on photos on a mac laptop or desktop, tthat would be much easier and give you more options
I don't do it because I'm comfy in my listening room and it's a pita for me to go to another room to get on my iMac and post. I'm going to continue to look for that good photo app for the iPad
