Nice that you don't have to replace parts, at least very often.  :)

Most typical solid state amplifiers run PP Class AB1, and Class A as well, with the same considerations
as tubes etc.

Of course there are also some Single Ended solid state Class A amps. Exotics such as Class D amps etc.
are available; which I am hearing good things about.
