If you have any gear with tube rectifiers I would say that they should be changed out on a regular basis
I've never heard this before. I run strong British Mullards and fat bottom Sylvania 5ar4's... never been changed.
And doing so regularly would add up to a bit of expense. If a tube is testing strong, why change it?
