Title: Fone recordings
Post by: jimbones on January 04, 2014, 07:14:27 PM
Not sure if anyone here has experience with this record label. I have some of their CD's so I decided to get one of their LP's. Wow what a recording!!  It is dead quiet (I thought the input selector was in the wrong position and then I checked the volume because the quiet parts had zero surface noise. Music and recording both 5 stars!!

Hi Jim

I like trying new music but in looking for Fone Records I found 2 labels.

Which one did you enjoy and find this great sound?

it's in Italian. Any English translation of their pages? I don't see a link for it unless it's the sub links like the one for Linn.

Not sure, i sent that link really quick. I did many searches and many tomes it came up with "phone records"  :duh

These recordings are pricey and available from amazon and other retailers. Many of them international. I may just do some downloads. I am not a classical guy so i will targer the Jazz stuff and maybe just a few "singles" of the classical stuff.
