New Sub- Give Me Some Low Bass Stuff To Play With

(1/5) > >>

James Edward:
As title says... I listen to just about anything with the exception of modern country. Prog rock, rock, classical, jazz, rap, old country, etc. Just looking to hit up Tidal for some things to shake the rafters. Even better when it’s real music. Thanks for any suggestions.
Jim

Nick B:
Jim,
1) Fanfare for the Common Man - do a search and review track results (there are a number of well recorded versions)
2) Way Down Deep by Jennifer Warnes

Jack:
Stanley Clarke, Larry Carlton, Billy Cobham - Live at the Greek.

Olive "Indulge Me"

Bela Fleck "Flight of the Cosmic Hippo"

Trust me, as a bass fanatic, these two are incredible. Not sure if these YT links are getting the message across.
But suffice it to say, that if you get the correct versions, it'll vibrate the hairs on your body.
If you're set up right, it'll vibrate your clothing and feel it in your chest. (recording dependent, of course).

That whole UFO Tofu Bela Fleck recording that The Hippo comes from is an awesome recording for LF, dynamics and percussive banjo.  Futureman's Synthaxe Drumitar has some great effects, too.  One of my all time faves for bass... Victor Wooten.
