I’m looking to get one more pair of the Silver interconnects. Thanks
-
Nick,
Is this the $800 a pair model that I see on their site? Maybe you can get some Siltech or KCAG for around the same price?

Paul,
Yes, the interconnects are the Silver. But due to business being slow at Wywires due to covid, Alex is offering 40% off and one dealer I spoke with was offering 45%. The Wywires cables are very, very good. I was fortunate enough to be able to use their Platinum digital with 2 Silver interconnects along with my Audio Envy speaker cables and AE power cords. What a very nice combo and I’ve not done any room treatments yet either. So I don’t want to venture into unknown territory 😳 ⚡️ …. with an unknown (to me) Siltech or KCAG

Oh wow! 40% off eh?
But I see that these are litz designs, I thought they were made of silver. The Siltech are the hi-end brand I only read about in the 90s. I think these are pure silver mixed in with gold.
The KCAG was Kimber's top end model before the Select Series during the late 90s(?). I only ever heard it at a dealer's demo. Very transparent, yet smooth sounding at the same time.
Anyway, let us know what happens with your hunt.

Yep, 40% discount. I know the silver description is confusing and Scott first clued me into the fact that it’s a name only and the Wywires line is all copper. I also confirmed that when I spoke with Alex S, the owner.
I’ve liked the Audio Envy cable loom, but using the Wywires and Audio Envy combination right now is … well, the best sound I’ve ever experienced in my system. Pretty amazing and after many years in this hobby. Will keep you posted

Look on HiFi Shark and type in Wywires silver. They pop up there fairly often at around $300... occasionally less.

Been checking every day on HIFi Shark and individually on Agon and US Audiomart. Nothing yet….
