Hi Al (?)
Just adding my 2cts here, since I started this and am still waiting to finish it (when the male man finally comes from Hawaii).Your report of the Little Dot is so at variance with what I know that it's hard to credit!!! Meaning? either they have done some serious changes or there are major sample to sample variations...If you read what I wrote above, I stated that according to M. Mardis who fought wih the thing for weeks, and others elsewhere, the tube front end is a design failure and the whole volumn/source switching/remote even more so. In the end he (Michel) threw it all out and is rebuiding from scratch. OK then we're no longer at the end of the day talking about the same amp. Oh well, the mysteries of this strange elusive obsession...sorry if I sound scratchy...this whole thing started innocently enough for me and has turned into a long complicated story.
