Jeff Beck
Paramount Theater
Denver, CO
2011-04-15

Source: US CSB's > Battery Box > Edirol R-05 @ 24/44.1 > USB > WAV by Royboy
Master: Wavelab 11 (tracking, EQ) > FLAC 24/44

Thanks to Royboy for the recording.

Set I
01. Plan B
02. Stratus
03. Led Boots
04. Corpus Christi Carol
05. Hammerhead
06. Mna Na Eireann
07. Bass solo
08. People Get Ready
09. You Never Know
10. Rollin' and Tumblin'
11. Big Block

Set II
12. Over the Rainbow
13. Little Wing
14. Blast From The East
15. Two Rivers
16. Dirty Mind
17. Brush With The Blues
18. A Day In The Life
19. crowd

Encore:
20. I Want To Take You Higher
21. How High the Moon
22. Nessun Dorma

A solid recording that needed just a little more treble.  Some setlists place Over The Rainbow at the end of Set I but there was a pause in the recording before the song, not after, so it probably started Set II.

Enjoy!

Comments:
Honestly people, this is ONE of THE best Johnny Winter LIVE
recordings I've ever heard!
Johnny's guitar tone is FAT AND CUTS RIGHT TO THE BONE!!
NO SHIT!!

The setlist is real similar to the very popular live album,
"Captured Live".
After "Boney Maroney",you can hear Freezer/Art blow a whistle real loud and
clear, which he often did on his recordings.

Have fun.

Grateful Dead

7/9/95 Partial 2nd Set
Multi-camera proshot

Set 2
Shakedown Street
Samson and Delilah
So Many Roads
Samba In The Rain
Corrina >
Drums >
Space >

Video
Unknown but very low generation vhs > standalone dvd recorder > DVD > DVD Decrypter (IFO Mode Demux) > Ulead DVD Workshop 2

Audio:
Source:  DSBD (pre FM) (@48kHz) shnid = 7233
Conversion:  D8 > Waveterminal 2496 (@44.1kHz - Real Time Resample) > Soundforge 5.0 > CD Wave > mkwACT - Conversion by jason@spreadwidepanic.com
I know there are at least 3 other versions of this .shn that are currently circulating.  I have not heard them all but I do know that this is superiour to the ones that have DAE in lineage and have some minor skips throughout.  Also this source does not have the chunck of digi in Corrina like some do.

Notes:
-Video capture using a standalone dvd recorder
-Soundboard audio downloaded from tol with many thanks
-Audio synchronization by Kevin Tobin using Adobe Audition to
compress/expand the audio in multitrack mode to match the original audio.
-Video patching, Multiplexing and DVD authoring via Ulead DVD Workshop 2 by Kevin Tobin.

Audio\Video Faults:
1) The first notes of Shakedown Street were missing on the video - filled in 4 seconds using graphics and soundboard audio to give a better lead in.

2) 39 seconds was missing from the video between Shakedown and Samson - filled in using graphics and soundboard audio.

3) 32 seconds was missing from the soundboard audio between Samson and So Many Roads - filled in using the video audio track.

4) 44 seconds was missing from the soundboard audio between So Many Roads and Samba - filled in using the video audio track.

5) Most of Samba in the Rain was missing as was the start of Corrina so 5 minutes 50 seconds at the end of the song is filler using graphics and the soundboard audio track. Please note this is not synced to the music.

6) 1 minute 3 seconds was missing from the video at the start of Drums - filled in using graphics and soundboard audio.

7) 11 seconds was missing from the soundboard audio during Space - filled in using the video audio track.

Review (from The Guardian)
Neil Young
Hammersmith Apollo, London
Alexis Petridis

As befits rock's most unpredictable elder statesman, you never know quite what a Neil Young concert will entail.
In recent years, they have involved everything from gentle country to rock opera with added interpretative dance.
Tonight is something of a smorgasbord. Close to three hours long, there are two sets, acoustic and electric.
The former is littered with unreleased songs from the early 70s, but both are heavy on the classics: Cowgirl in the Sand,
Don't Let It Bring You Down, Powderfinger. Nevertheless, you would hesitate to call it crowd-pleasing.

For reasons known only to Young, an artist paints canvases at the rear of the stage and announces songs by placing interpretative pictures on a large easel stage right.
The unexplained visual art theme extends to Young's paint-spattered suit. He looks disturbingly like a man who has been on the receiving end of a seagull's bowel movement.
Still, no one goes to see Neil Young in search of fashion tips.
A lot of them, however, seem to have come with the express intention of getting the notoriously taciturn 62-year-old to talk between songs.
At first, he remains resolutely mute. Perhaps it is a defence mechanism; there are middle-aged men here screaming, "I love you, Neil!"
Eventually, after a dazzling version of one of his loveliest songs, Journey Through the Past, he relents.
The audience respond by cheering his every utterance, including a mention of Flin Flon, Manitoba.
"Must be a lotta folks from Flin Flon here tonight," he deadpans.

But even the most impartial observer could see why Young continues to inspire such devotion.
At 35 years old, Mellow My Mind has lost nothing of its wracked intensity, despite Young's decision to perform it on the banjo.
He plays guitar as if he is trying to scare intruders off his property with it: brandishing it, thumping it against his knee,
wrenching flurrying solos and shrieks of piercing feedback from it. Hey Hey, My My is pitched at a remarkable level of ferocity.
More remarkable still, Young maintains this ferocity for the remainder of the set.

No Hidden Path is not the greatest of his extended guitar jams, but Young throws himself at it with an almost deranged abandon.
An encore of Cinnamon Girl ends with a lengthy, startling coda: whenever you think it has finished, Young starts making a racket again.
As metaphors for his own remarkable career go, it is perfectly apt.

Thanks again bigtime to JJ for taping and the master tape loan.
A shame I didn't have my optical PC sound card at the time, but this is surely an upgrade for everyone.
JJ could not even get his masters like Tampa and Miami to play without digital noise, but luckily I was.

From UU:
A nearly complete soundboard from 1977 appears, pulled out of the hat by Empress Valley once again. This time they have done an excellent job, and neatly filled the gaps with the audience recording. This is a raw soundboard, although all instruments/vocals are fairly well balanced.

*   No Quarter from 3.35 to 4.20 minutes has been neatly filled from the audience recording

**  Bron-yr-Aur Stomp where the gap has been again neatly filled from the audience recording      from  0.42 to 2.45 minutes into the song.

*** Moby Dick from 25.40 to 35.17 minutes into the number, which has again been plugged with the audience tape

**** Finally the very end of the concert after the group have left the stage, on track 6, starting at 4.39 minutes, until the end at 6.22, has been filled from the audience recording (with good comments from the taper and his friends, hats off to them!).
