Title: Good Source for Flat Screen Purchase
Post by: ik632 on September 16, 2008, 12:28:59 PM
I'm starting my search for a lcd or plasma for the living room. I'm thinking anywhere between a 42" and 50" will fit (I have a 52" wide spot in the entertainment center). I'm looking in the sub $1500 range. I know the Samsung have been seen for this range. Do any of you know of any good online sources to purchase for less than regular retail?

I was just in Sam's Club and looked at a 48" (I think it was) Samsung Plasma in the $1500 range. Good prices there.
Damn nice picture and color. Actually stunning.  I don't know if I would buy one"on line" unless you could save big on tax.

Crutchfield has scratch and dent section which I've used many times, even for my beautiful 30" 16:9 CRT Toshiba. Merchandise is always perfect. They also have an outlet store in VA.

Sometimes TigerDirect.com has good deals on flatscreens... and they have a store in Raleigh.

I ended up going with an LG 47" 1080P  8)

I couldn't pass up the deal they had at Best Buy.
