The question of the day. I see so many DAC's now that after a year or two they are obsolete. Why ?? Would not it be prudent to purchase a FUTURE PROOF DAC ?
We think so and lucky for you Aqua Acoustic Quality DACs offer just that. All modular designs where a simple modular can be swapped out for a small cost. BRILLIANT !
Aqua's plan is to offer such when advances are found and proven. Firmware updates or upgrades can be done by the ownwer using his/her computer.
So if your looking at that new DAC look at AQUA. Complete no extra after market power supplies or special transport required to sound better.
Try one today. come hear AQUA/Lamm/Kharma at CES 2018. Visit us on Facebook and say hello.

Charles,
Very intriguing. I didn’t get a pass to attend CES and am a stones throw away from there. Oh well...
Upgradeability. You bet. Great idea. Does that mean that the chip cannot be replaced down the road?

The beauty is NO chip. Aqua uses ladder DACs. When a modification is offered it is either firmware or plug in module. Futureproof.
Maybe I can get you a pass. We shall see.

That is indeed future proof. A win/win as the company makes a profit and money isn’t wasted on chassis costs, etc.
If you can get me a pass.....I’ll take it!

Actually the recently updated Formula xHD DAC just added new I2S and USB boards. A major firmware upgrade as well. A major improvement. Which actually surprised me.
Lamm chose Aqua for CES thanks Vladimir.
