Pipedream model 924
« on: February 27, 2015, 08:15:53 AM »
Well time has come to part with the Nearfield Acoustic Pipedreams.
This pair was the personal pair of designer Lee Porzilli. Each speaker uses 24 silk dome tweeters per side as well as 9 mid/bass drivers.
These line arrays weigh approx 240lbs each. finish is Bubunga veneer over Corian. 66" tall. They are flat to 50HZ. A sub is required.
As much as I love them they are just too big for my room. Just cannot get then to their full potential in my room.
List price $18,500 steal them at $3500. They need a good home with a good person so the inexpensive price.
Local pickup in NY. I cannot upload pictures, so if interested come over and listen to them, bring your checkbook

How freaky is this? I went into Google Images and searched on "Nearfield Acoustic Pipedreams" to see if I could find at least a stock photo for you, and look what as the very first photo on the results page - Your speaker in your basement!

BTW - Who is that masked man?
