6 Moons Review of the TWL "Loom"
« on: September 24, 2014, 07:33:31 AM »
Check out this 6 Moons review of the TWL "Loom"

http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews2/triodewire/1.html

Also remember the NYC show this weekend. Triode Wire Labs is teaming up with Volti Audio (http://www.voltiaudio.com) and Raven Audio (http://www.ravenaudio.com), Sept 26-28 at the Brooklyn Marriott in downtown Brooklyn - Room 349.

See you there!
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have to blow your nose.

I plan to be at the show on Friday.

As for the review, I was very happy to see that the reviewer heard the same things that I did when I installed the TWL cords in my system many months before the review was published. And descibed the changes on pretty much the same way.

So for all those flat earthers who say that cables cannot possibly make a difference and claim that it is all in our heads because "we want to hear it", how do you explain that different people in different places, at different times hear the same changes in different equipment?

System consists of an amp a preamp, 2 speakers a turntable and a phono preamp, Also some cables and power cords and a really cheap cd player.

Out of the thousands of people who hear a difference with cables amongst other things. The response from an EE should be - Although i don't understand it there appears to be enough people reporting that improvements can be heard and demonstrated. I am unable to explain it on my oscilloscope.

Instead we hear this - my oscilloscope dictates all that is electronic so there fore all evidence contradicting my oscilloscope must be delusional.

That is the logic of a about 75% of EEs including the ones on AC.

Werd, I agree with you 100% (and I am an EE).

My response to them is if six people here something and you can't measure it the problem is not that the six people are imagining something, rather it is that you are trying to measure the wrong thing.

The only two measuring devices that I care about sit on either side of my head. If I can understand the reasons why, that is a nice intellectual exercise, but if I can't I am very happy to chalk it up to "Oh well" and just sit back an enjoy the music.

At work I need to understand technology so it can be monetized, but at home I am a user, not a seller and therefore my main goal is to simply enjoy it.
