Coming up next week, I'll try to hit Infinity.

I hit Mr Cheapos on Jericho Turnpike, came away with nothing.  Mr Cheapo is anything but.........

They are hit and miss. They usually have a good selection of bootlegs for people who are into that, but you are right , they are not cheap, just local.

Give Infinty Records in Massapequa a try.  I have more constsiant luck there. They certainly aren't PREX, but they are a better than average local store.

Gene - I'm only < 1 mile from Infinity... Give me a call & come over for a listen...

Somtimes the thrill of the hunt is almost as good as listening to the music itself.

Geez I only just saw this, thanks Pete. Never made it to Infinity anyway. Think I'll be back on LI after the 1st and will let you and others know.

Unfortunately, the weekday hours at Infinity are not very friendly to the working man. The only weeknight they are open pasr 5:30 is Thurs and then only until 7:00.
I never really noticed this before since I do most all of my shopping there on the weekend.

Of course this doesn't mean that a bunch of us cannot get together for a playdate.  8)

Had to drop off some donations at the Crack House today (household things, not music) and of course while there I felt morally obligated to peruse the music section. Not a bad haul today, even if it was all digital and no vinyl.

Mozart for Your Morning Workout - Philips CD
Bach for Breakfast - Philips CD
Wynton Marsalis: Baroque Music for Trumpet - CBS Masterworks CD
The Canadian Brass: Fireworks! - Baroque Brass Favorites - RCA Red Seal CD
The Canadian Brass: Two Centuries of Hits - Sony CD
The Canadian Brass: Seen and Heard - Philips CD
Scheherazade, Cappriocio Italien, 1812 Overture: Von Karajan/Berlin Philharmonic - Deutche Grammophon CD
Strauss Family Waltzes: Fiedler/Boston Pops - RCA Living Stereo CD
Celtic Thunder: It's Entertainment - Decca CD
Russel Watson: The Voice, The Ultimate Collection - Decca CD
Bing Crosby: Merry Christmas - MCD CD
The Phil Collins Big Band: A Hot Night in Paris - Atlantic CD
The Very Best of Billy Ray Cyrus, Cover to Cover - Mercury CD

Led Zeppelin ‎– Led Zeppelin IV
Label: Atlantic ‎– R1-535340
Format: Reissue, Remastered, 180 Gram
Country: USA & Canada
Released: 27 Oct 2014

Picked this up today at my first visit to Trax On Wax in Baltimore, MD. It goes with the releases of I, II & III I recently bought. The LZ IV from 1987 I bought with I thru III just couldn't hold it's own so todays purchase takes it place.

I almost bought the 1987 release of Physical Graffiti cut by Sam Feldman at Atlantic Studios, but it was priced at $43. Since my '87 LZ IV was just ok sounding I saw no reason to spend so much on PG.

Note: Rats, seems the 87 PG with sf's initials in the deadwax is a keeper, maybe I'll go back this week.

Gene, did you get the single LP or the deluxe version, which contains a second disc with the complete album except each track is some kind of alternate take?
