Thanks Charles. Still waiting for my manager to give me some dates - I owe TMAZZ a return call but don't have any info/specifics yet. As I rule I am onsite for 1 to 3 weeks, M-TH, and have evening to myself.

I'll let you guys know when I know more.

Picked up a couple of really nice condition vintage LPs at the Crack House  last week.

Marches in Hi-Fi - Arthur Fiedler/Boston Pops (original Shaded Dog)

and

Prokofiev Love For Three Oranges/Scythian Suite - Antal Dorati/London Symphony Orchestra (Original Mercury Living Presence Stereo LP)
At one point Harry Pearson had this LP included in the elite baker's dozen of the recordings on his Super Disc list.

Both for 69 cents each.  :yay2:

Typical of the Crack House, I went through about three months of seeing nothing but cr@p in the record bins and the BAM, I find both of these on the same day.  8)

That's just the way it is there. Feast or famine.

My haul from the crack house called PREX last Sunday. The bottom 2 on the left side are SACD.   Part of the haul included Timeout ($4), Deluxe edition of A Love Supreme (10), Birth of the Cool (2).  That was one expensive trip

By the way if folks on the board are looking to get rid of any sacd keep me in mind  :thumb:

This wasn't a Crack House find but actually a TJ Maxx find.

http://www.allaboutjazz.com/php/article.php?id=31837#.UsYmudJDtfE

Yes you are reading right a TJ Maxx find. The TJ Maxx on Woodbury Road in Hicksville Long Island has some vinyl in the men's section. Mostly new releases. Train, Justin Timberlake, Adele were the records there. I never thought post holiday returns would yield a Miles Davis box set. So the next time the wife wants to drag you out to TJ Maxx or Homegoods maybe you should tag along. Who knows what you may find. Homegoods has been great for turntable isolation butcher blocks for me.

Pricing is close to what you would pay from Amazon without the wait for delivery.

I thought you were supposed to be getting rid of things Tom! Or are you just getting in those last licks before you move to the new house?

He's funding his mortgage.

Buy a bunch of 25 cent CD's at the crack house ... sell them for only a dollar to you my friend.  8-[

WTF?!! I don't understand you are still collecting?? I thought you were liquidating?! :duh :duh :duh

I liquidated some, so now I have room again.

I'm an addict, that's why my kids named it the crack house.

But let's be real, I'm getting rid of over 3000 LPs, I only bought less than a dozen CDs (this time.)

No need to panic (yet) :D
