Thinking about going Saturday. Anyone else going that day? Friday attendees, please report back on whether it's worth the trip and which rooms to hit.

I think we have to make it worth the trip, if we don't go, there will be low attendance, and no desire for another show to come to NY.

I think this show is small enough that you easily hit all the rooms, then go back and linger in the ones you like.

And don't forget Wes has a room this year

I will be there tommorrow all day and looking foward to another gorgeous day! in NYC

Mike
System consists of an amp a preamp, 2 speakers a turntable and a phono preamp, Also some cables and power cords and a really cheap cd player.

The second to last ones sounded phenomenal... GT Audio, though the cabinet work was a lottle low grade, but if you listen in the dark it doesnt matter... $2795 or around there. Active 12 downward firing sub. Dual mids, ribbon and planar. Sounded awesome..
Also loved the warm inviting Sound Smith Room... And the Wilson Sashas in a couple rooms...
Oh and if you are into headphones Woo Audio... 2 entire rooms, freaking ridiculously great sound...
Im sure Bob will be more informaitive as he took notes.. And i just like to look at the pics anyway!
Its cool ndude.

I always wanted to hear them, such gorgeous speakers.  The model was the 7L not the flagship with the great review, one with holes.
They were driven by a Hegel amp and sounded thin, bright, no bass, no mids... It was a disaster.. Maybe it was the pairing, maybe need break-in. Not good tho.
Its cool ndude.

Lots of great monitors, one called The Clue, $995, placed up against the wall, the designer demands it, and ridiculous bass, tight and punchy too. Small waveguide in the tweet.  Very nice.
Also the sound smith room... 3k monitores Lush, you could just sit there all day.  No tubes either, shocking.. Driven by Jfet bridged amps, playing records. Wow..
Its cool ndude.
